These two have been together for many years, and are engaged to be married this Fall! We had a good time shooting our field session, even though the sun was beating down on us and we left completely sweaty! Here are a few of my favorite shots.
These two have been together for several years, and they were so sweet during their couples session the other day! We were under a high wind advisory that evening, so we had a few good laughs as we battled the elements to keep their hair and clothes in place. Despite that, it was a really fun and successful shoot. You really can’t beat a good field for romantic couples photos.
Valley Park in Hurricane was a perfect place to take these Spring engagement photos. Tim and Shayla are such a lovely couple and were so easy to work with, and I love the sweet images we were able to capture together. I know they’re going to have a happy future together!
I’ve never done a sweet 16 session before, but I’m already craving another! McKenzie wanted a sunset session in a field, along with some couples shots with her boyfriend, and I think they turned out gorgeous. We were lucky that this evening was one of the best sunsets I’ve seen in a long time; so many colors!
I’ve been working with Alex and Ian since their wedding back in 2015, and this is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of doing maternity photos for them. Little Harper is getting a sister very soon!
I’ve done several sessions with Alex and Ian now, including their fantastic wedding a few years back. I was so excited to get the news that they’re expecting their first baby, a little girl, in August!
I actually photographed Alex and Ian’s wedding last year, and it was the craziest but most amazing one I’ve ever shot! A tornado came through the night before their outdoor barn wedding (no joke!) and they therefore had an insane rehearsal dinner, but the next day, everything went great, even with the mud and debris everywhere. 🙂
They are such a fun couple, and they asked me to come do one-year anniversary pictures for them at their home in Ripley. We had to battle the elements again (we had to call it quits early due to a massive thunderstorm!) but it was a good time nonetheless!
Cathedral Falls may have been nothing more than a trickle that day, but these guys certainly didn’t mind! We tromped all over the boulders and had a great time.
These guys will be getting married sometime next year, and wanted engagement pictures done before Katie returned to Marshall University this fall. They were such a sweet couple and I really enjoyed their session, even though we got chased and hissed at by creepy ducks during shooting! Haha!
Janna and Jeremy are tying the knot in a few months here in Charleston. They wanted to incorporate reflections, perspective, and poi into some of their shots, and even though it was burning up outside, we had a lot of fun shooting!
